My computer warns me on first launch

Development builds are not signed with Apple and Microsoft certificates yet.

macOS: Right-click the app → Open → Open. On macOS 15 and later: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
Windows: "Windows protected your PC" → More info → Run anyway.

The mouse won’t lock or the cursor disappears

Click the window to start. Esc releases the mouse and pauses; click again to continue. Mouse lock may not work over remote desktop or in virtual machines.

The game is slow

Update your graphics drivers. On Windows, assign the game to the high-performance GPU under Settings → Display → Graphics; on a Mac, turn off Low Power Mode.

Shortcuts

F11 or Alt+Enter: full screen. All controls are listed in the in-game menu.
